It’s Easy To Pursue Your Professional Development

Frank Fuller and Scott Hughes

At National Gypsum, we strive to make continuing education convenient and worth your while. You are juggling projects on your board while completing RFPs, so let us help put more hours in your day and take the headache out of fulfilling your CEUs.

To accommodate your busy days, we offer an AIA continuing education program with both in-person and online courses. They all relate to product applications, technical standards and industry trends.

Lunch ‘N Learns: Great For Rising Associates

Our AIA Lunch ‘N Learns are in-person presentations we conduct during your lunch hour (we’ll provide the nutrition to keep you and your team fueled). Your construction design manager or certified presenter will come to your firm and present a topic of your choice from our continuing education library. Some of our popular courses include “High Performance Gypsum: Protect Against Mold, Moisture and Exposure,” “Understanding the UL Fire Resistant Directory 101” and “Finishing Gypsum Board: Appearance and Indoor Air Quality.”

This is a great way to help with the educational efforts of your new and incoming employees. Our format includes a question and answer session and the opportunity to discuss multiple subjects.

At the AIA convention this spring, National Gypsum was mentioned as a major proponent of continuing education for architects. Our AIA Acoustics presentation (“Acoustically Enhanced Gypsum Board Designed for High-STC Wall Assemblies”) was recognized nationally as one of the “Top Five Most Presented” of 1,300 courses. Maybe that is a course you would like us to present to you and your associates?

Online Options

In between Lunch ‘N Learns or if your schedule doesn’t allow for an on-site presentation, National Gypsum also offers online continuing education courses through AEC Daily and Ron Blank. If you are inspired and want to complete a CEU in the middle of the night, the option is available.

Want To Schedule A Lunch ‘N Learn?

Contact your construction design manager today to schedule a National Gypsum AIA Lunch ‘N Learn. It’s easy, effective and you won’t leave hungry. Education never expires and is always a redeemable asset.

"I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have conducted a Lunch ‘N Learn and afterward someone has come up to me with a comment or question about the topic I covered. Several times an architect has commented that he actually learned something new or received a better understanding of a particular subject. To that end, we are constantly updating our presentations to make sure that they are current, engaging and educational. You can’t go wrong selecting any of our AIA CEU courses to provide what you are looking for in continuing education for your design staff."
- Frank Fuller

"A National Gypsum AIA Lunch 'N Learn is a great way to get your newest and youngest employees trained on things that affect their work every day. Whether it is trying to understand the UL fire-resistant directories or figuring out how various products can help reduce sound transmission through the walls, we can get your firm in the know! New, simpler, smarter and quicker to install products and systems are constantly being introduced to the marketplace. Be sure you’re keeping your firm up-to-date and give us a call."
- Scott W. Hughes
